The South African Government is expected to send an aircraft on Sunday to convey survivors of the collapsed six-storey guest house at the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) Lagos.
Officials claim the eighty-four bodies of South Africans killed in the collapsed building will not return with the plane for now as forensic experts will try to identify the remains.
Officials also said that the plane, which will carry medical personnel, would remain briefly on the ground in Lagos to load the injured South Africans before returning home.
It is believed that at least 30 South Africans are in hospitals in Lagos and reported to be under guard by security employed by Scoan.
These guards are allegedly preventing the media and relief workers from speaking to the South African survivors.
However, South Africa has on their own part mobilised a massive effort to deal with the aftermath of the tragedy.
