Floyd Mayweather, Jr. has issued a challenge to Manny Pacquiao after his recent win against Marcos Maidana, telling the Filipino champ they should "make it happen", referring to the much-awaited super fight between them, reports an article onThe Dailypedia.
He set new conditions for the fight, however; saying Pacquiao should first be worthy enough to fight him by obtaining a very impressive win against Chris Algieri. There was also the condition for the Pinoy champ to fight under Mayweather Promotions.
In turn, Pacquiao told him to just stop babbling and fight him.
Boxing fans had been so excited about the fight, which is supposed to happen in the first part of 2015 so as to give a chance for a rematch to happen later in the year.

Once again, however, Mayweather's camp seems to be backing off from negotiations. Speaking with reporters after his son's unanimous win against Maidana, Mayweather Sr. said his son would surely have a fight next year, but not with Pacquiao.
The older Mayweather revealed they have a list of possible opponents, but Pacquiao may not be listed there or could be very far down that list. According to a report onGMA News, Floyd's dad said the next possible opponent is Amir Khan.
Of course, understanding that the reporters wanted to hear more about the Pacquiao versus Mayweather bout rather than the Mayweather versus Khan fight, the older Mayweather added that there are no definite plans yet.
He said, "whoever asks for it is gonna get it" because there are still other fighters that are worthy enough for his son to fight. It is quite possible that he is still hinting that the mega-fight with Pacquiao could still push through in 2015, but the camp is certain this won't be their priority.
