This would be the second time they are attacking Izge village. They had attacked the village on the 16th of February killing 63 people.
In this recent attack, the men came at about 2am, chanting war songs as they killed elderly people in the village and burnt down all the standing buildings in the village. There were rumors that the federal government was planning to dissolve the democratic government in Borno state and bring in a military administrator to help stop the continuous attack by the sect men on the state but this has been refuted by the federal government....do you think that would have helped?
