Kim Kardashian may be the self-styled champion of selfie taking but someone else has been quietly putting in some solid effort over recent months, and that someone is Britain's very own Sam Smith.
Scrolling back through his Instagram feed is quite the experience – it's a mixture of himself on stage and himself at arm's length, with occasion extras. And fair play to him, he's certainly creative… and anyone new to the art of 'The Selfie' could certainly learn a thing or two from the critically-acclaimed hitmaker.
More often than not, for example, it's effective to look not into the camera but off into the distance; as if you've been caught unaware by your own pesky picture-taking fingers.
