‎Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie has done so much for herself and she's been getting the deserved attention from all over.
The Nigerian writer has been profiled by the New York Times as one of the New Wave African Writers With an Internationalist Bent.
She has a couple of desirable works to her credit of which includes Purple Hibiscus, Half of a Yellow Sun and most recently Americanah.
New York times also revealed that Chimamanda didn't have a smooth sail to the top calibre as she experienced a lot of turn down because she was Nigerian and the agents would have preferred if she was Indian.
Felicia R. Lee of the NY Times details in the profile, her numerous awards, dividing time between the United States and Nigeria, featuring in Beyoncé's song Flawless, and Half of a Yellow Sun the movie.
