Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari says he would change nationality if he could.
The AC Milan player, who is currently on a preseason tour of the USA with his Italian club, feels he is appreciated more at club level than with his national side, which he would consider changing if he was able to.
"Here at Milan, it is different from Ghana," Muntari was quoted as saying in Ghanaian media.
"Here you can have whatever you want, and you're loved by your teammates.
"But I can't change the country I come from."
Muntari was kicked out of the Ghana camp at this year's World Cup after reportedly physically assaulting Black Stars official Moses Armah, for which he has been inconclusively suspended from the national side.
Muntari, 29, has made 81 appearances for his national team since his debut in 2002.
