It is official, women are not permitted to wear mini skirts to Lagos based church, House on the rock.
This was made known yesterday by the church's founder, Pastor Paul Adefarasin. He said he made decision due to frequent influx of ladies wearing distracting mini skirts to church and to avoid seduction in the church of God.
During his sermon yesterday, Pastor Adefarasin further said:
"I will assume that the members that do this, are probably new or uninformed ones…but we don't allow mini skirts in this church. If you must wear something short, make sure it covers your knees. Otherwise, an usher might need to come and complete your dressing."
When Pastor Adefarasin asked for a witness, a large portion of the congregation shouted a resounding "yes".
He also warned female choir members not to wear High-heeled shoes again.
Should the use of mini-skirts and high-heeled shoes be abolished in Nigerian churches?
