There have been so many peripheral players in Meek Mill and The Game's beef (Sean Kingston, Beanie Sigel, Omelly, Drake) that it's getting difficult to make out who's involved and who isn't. Yesterday, a post from Nicki Minaj where she addressed "shady" people who "betray your trust" had fans speculating that the New York rapper, who is currently dating Meek, might be sharing some advice on his feud with Game and Beanie.
According to Nicki, that is far from the case. A tweet from Minaj debunked the assumption she was referring to Meek's recent tiff,
pointing to the original poster of the quote, Benzino.
"This was a repost," she wrote, accompanying the text with a picture of the original image. "Not my words & nthn to do w/no damn beef … This is a life quote… Elevate your minds."
It seems that Nicki is not interested in getting involved in Meek's battle here. The most recent development in the feud saw Meek rapping his ass off on Funk Flex, focusing more on his craft than sending out shots.
