Theherocrooner 's team released a statement, accusing the Australian businessman of being "violent" and "mentally unstable", leading the mother of two to break off their 10-month engagement. This is contrary to earlier claims that he called off the relationship due to her extravagant lifestyle.
Despite Packer's alleged decision to let her keep the $10 million engagement ring he gifted her in January, TMZreports that Mariah Carey has privately made the demand for cold, raw cash to the tune of $50 million stating that that's the amount the relationship with James Packer cost her and proceeded to highlight how she came about the figure.
First off, the 46-year-old claimed she had to uproot her life in New York to accommodate Packer's desire to be close to his children which prompted a move to Los Angeles.
She also reportedly claimed that Packer made several financial promises to her which she intends to actualize as well as citing an 'awful'incident between the Billionaire and her assistant aboard a yacht in Greece which has left her traumatised till this day.
It seems that theirs will not be a situation of friendly exes. We wonder if James Packer will pay up, after all, what is a paltry $50 million to a billionaire?
Packer's reps are yet to comment as at the time of reporting.
