It was wrong for Obama to have urged young people not to look at the wealth of her and her husband as an example of success – after he branded Kanye a "jackass" for interrupting Taylor Swift's 2009 MTV Music Awards acceptance speech.
In her juicy cover story interview with GQ magazine,Kim said:"I don't think it's very appropriate for the President of the United States to be commenting on pop culture … I mean, calling people 'jackass?'
"I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinion – even him. I was just like, 'Why is he even commenting on this?'"
But the star admits it is a good thing her famous family and their E! reality TV show Keeping Up With The Kardashians are so popular that even Obama feels he needs to give them a shout out.
She added: "Okay, sure, just the fact that the President of the United States even knows who I am, and is talking about whether his kids watch our show is pretty cool."
On why they named their daughter North West, Kim said:
"It was a rumour in the press and we'd never really considered it seriously, at all, but Kanye and I were having lunch … and Pharrell [Williams] came over to us and said, 'Oh my God, are you guys really going to call your daughter North? That is the best name.
"Then a little while later [US Vogue editor] Anna Wintour came over and asked the same thing. She told us, 'North is a genius name.' Kanye and I looked at one another and just laughed. I guess at that point it sort of stuck."
