According to reports, the Nigerian doctor who treated diseased Liberian, Patrick Sawyer has also caught the Ebola virus.
This was reportedly revealed by theMinister of Health,Onyebuchi Chukwuwho said:
"This new case is one of the doctors who attended to the Liberian Ebola patient who died,"
Patrick Sawyerarrived inLagosonJuly 20after boarding 2 planes and authorities have been trying to search for all the people he came in contact with.
The first case of Ebola was reported in February and health workers in the affected West African countries are battling to stop the scourge.
