Guests at a wedding were given a huge fright when a three-foot long Florida kingsnake gatecrashed the celebrations.
The snake was spotted in the grounds of a church as the wedding was taking place.
Two guests attending the event at St Bridget's Roman Catholic Church near Glasgow flagged down a passing motorist when they made the scary discovery.
The driver stopped to help before contacting Scotland's animal welfare charity which is now seeking its owner.
The snake has now been nicknamed Vince after one of the stars of the film Wedding Crashers.
Vince is now in the care of the charity's Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton, the Daily Record reported.
Animal Rescue Officer Jan Toraman said: "Apparently Vince caused quite a stir at the wedding and gave the guests a real fright.
"When I arrived Vince had slithered into a nearby garden and he wasn't very happy to be rescued.
"We think there may be someone in the area missing their snake and they'll no doubt be surprised when they hear what he's been up to.
"Anyone who recognises Vince should give us a call on 03000 999 999.
"If no one comes forward for him we'll find him a new home."
