The big winner of the night was Beyonce, who took home three awards – Best Female R&B/Pop Artist, the FANdemonium Award, and Best Collaboration for "Drunk in Love" with Jay Z.
Receiving two awards each were were Pharrell Williams, Nicki Minaj, and newcomer August Alsina.
Video of the Year went to Pharrell for his hit song "Happy" and he also won theawardfor Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. Nicki took home Best Female Hip Hop Artist as well as Best Group as a member of Young Money. August picked up the prize for Best New Artist, as well as the Coca-Cola Viewers' Choice Award for his song "I Luv This $hit."
