Legendary Soul Singer Bobby Womack Dies Age At 70

For seven decades Bobby Womack has created some of the world's most soulful songs, both for himself and others, but on Thursday the legendary musician died. Rolling Stone confirmed late Friday that the singer had passed away aged 70.
His label XL Records told the music magazine of his passing but the cause of the star's death is currently unknown. Just two weeks ago, the legendary singer performed at the Bonnaroo Music Festival in Manchester, Tennessee.
