Pharrell, Pitbull to Receive Stars on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Pharrell Williams and Pitbull are about to cement their spot in Hollywood history. The superstars will be honored with a star on the Walk of Fame.
The "Happy" hitmaker" and Miami rapper are among the 30 honorees selected to receive a star in 2015, the Walk of Fame Selection Committee announced on Thursday.
Pitbull celebrated the news, tweeting, "Excited about my new honor as a Walk of Famer for Class of 2015."
Other honorees include Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, Sofia Vergara, Amy Poehler, Kelly Ripa, Kool & The Gang, and producer Dr. Luke.
"We know that the new selections represent the best of the entertainment industry and will be a great addition to the Walk of Fame for both the Hollywood community and fans from around the world who visit Hollywood every year," said Maureen Schultz, Chair of the Walk of Fame selection committee.
They join past Walk of Fame honorees including Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, and Diddy.
