Ghana is doing it best to solve its electricity woes in time for the World Cup matches, and is doing everything it can, including borrowing power.
According to Bloomberg, the country's largest aluminium smelter will operate on reduced power during Ghana's matches, meaning there will be more power for TVs.
Furthermore, Ghana's Public Utilities Regulatory Commission has confirmed that neighboring Ivory Coast will be supplying 50 megawatts of power.
Ghana kick off their World Cup campaign against the USA on Monday night.
