Adeoye had jumped into the river after getting caught cheating during an exam at theHigh School for Math, Science and Engineering, where she schooled.
A male classmate told The Post that teacher Eva Malikova had caught Adeoye looking at her phone and began screaming at her, 'Oh, you shouldn't be cheating! You guys shouldn't be cheating! You guys are lying to yourselves!'
When Adeoye burst into tears and apologized, Malikova reportedly snapped back: 'Oh, you are not really sorry. That's not a sincere apology!'
Adeoye then asked to go to the bathroom, but not until she wrote on her exam paper: "Ijust want to go away forever on the bottom of the river". It was the last time she was seen.
Police had listed Adeoye as "missing" until her body was found.
Adeoye's body was found on the morning of June the 3rd, at 9:30am, floating not very far from where she jumped in New York's Washington Heights district.
The police department's Harbor Unit at 170th Street and Riverside Drive fished her out of the water. Police say the teenager was "unresponsive," but they moved her southward to Harlem's 125th Street Pier, where the Emergency Medical Service officials declared Adeoye dead at the scene.
