The shock that was felt in Oyo upon the discovery of a ritualists' den in the capital, Ibadan, is still causing ripples in the state.
The abandoned building complex, which has now been dubbed the "house of horror", was found littered with decomposing human remains and bones.
Residents visited the scene in their multitudes to catch a glimpse of the horrific site where emaciated victims rescued.
Reports have it that some hoodlums took over the forest and began to scramble for the human parts scattered around.
The miscreants were also reportedly harassing people and they even attempted to attack the policemen who were deployed to keep people away from the area.
The state government has made moves to demolish all the structures in the forest today at 11 a.m. and the development has been confirmed by Festus Adebayo, the Special Adviser to Governor Abiola Ajimobi on Media.
