It happened that the female student cut her new government school uniform skirt so short that her inner pants were been noticed. While the Teacher was cautioning her in the Class, a male Student in SS1 shows up through the window and questioned the teacher why she should caution the girl.
The insult and embarrassment which the teacher received from the male student led her into dragging the boy who hooked the teacher on her shirt to the staff room.
Other teachers joined and flogged the boy for his insolence and the teacher went back to her class to continue her lesson. She returned to the staff room after her lesson to carry her new born baby (five months old) and the boy that was flogged returned to attack her. He mobilized his cult brothers who came to the staff room fully armed with machete and started butchering the female teacher while her baby were in her arms without mercy.
The matter was reported to The Scorpion Unity State Police command and several arrest was made but the main culprit by nameChimaobi Precious Aguis still at large at the time of filing this report.
This is calling on the Imo State government especially our amiable Governor –Owelle Rochas Okorochato kindly look into this matter unless discipline will be a thing of the past in our already failed school system in Nigeria. If this issue is not properly dealt with, our teachers will be scared to inculcate discipline into our young ones and the result will be quite daunting when these young people grow up with such violent characters.
A lot has been said in the past about cult activities in secondary schools in Imo State and the time has come to put an end to this radical behaviour amongst our youth.
