The former Villarreal striker joined the Florence outfit in 2012 and has already had to undergo two surgeries to his knee. A deadly forward when fit, Rossi's career has been blighted by injuries especially to his right knee. The problems first began when the then, young Giuseppe Rossi sustained a knee injury at Manchester United. Sir Alex Ferguson was quick to move the midfielder on to Villarreal where his injuries continued before he moved back to Fiorentina in Italy in a bid to further his career with the Italian national side but as things appear, that might never happen.
