The latest instalment of the X-Men franchise has been slated for May 23rd and on Friday 20th Century Fox and Marvel unveiled nine posters to build
even more excitement before the highly anticipated movie.
In the upcoming movie (X-Men: Days of Future Past), the X-Men send Wolverine, played by Hugh Jackman, to the past in a desperate effort to change history and prevent an event that dooms humans and mutants.
Bryan Singer, the director of this latest instalment relied heavily on major cast members of previous movies including 73-year-old Patrick Stewart, as Professor Charles Xavier, and Ian
McKellen, 74, as Magneto, with their younger selves from X-Men: First Class, James McAvoy, 34, and Michael
Fassbender, 37.
This movie also introduced a new villain – Peter Dinklage as military scientist Bolivar Trask who has created a range of robots called Sentinels to hunt and destroy mutants. Followers of the X-Men comic would be especially familiar with this similar story line.
The cast members include my personal favourite, Halle Berry as Storm and Ellen Page as Kitty Pryde.
'This is a story about a bad future, not a bad situation with an individual, but a bad future and how do you go back and
change that,' Bryan Singer told Collider earlier this year.
The movie was filmed in Montreal, Canada last year.
