Reports have it that the security tape which showed Solange assaulting her brother-in-law in an elevator was sold to the highest bidder, celebrity gossip site TMZ, for $250,000 (40,687,500).
The management of The Standard Hotel, where the incident occurred, is said to be currently searching for the person who leaked the footage for the purpose of taking legal action.
Meanwhile the family has attempted damage control as Jay Z and Solange were seen together shopping for jewelleryand Beyonce posted photos of happy times with her sister on her Instagram account.
