The mother of one who is blessed with a beautiful daughter told Punch saying: "I guess I haven't found the right script yet. Creativity and depth are the qualities that I look out for in a script. In the beginning, the movie industry emphasized quantity but things are changing and there is an improvement in trend. I am among the people who advocate for the improvement of the industry. So said, I am constantly watching out for the kind of stories I take part in. "I am in support of movies that show a great deal of professionalism and creativity. Having practised my art in international and professionally produced stories like 'Ije'; 'Mirror boy;' and 'Tango with me', I don't think I can return to the blandness and mediocrity that characterized Nollywood in the past. I have respected myself as an artiste. I think the success stems from the fact that I have given acting my all. " she said Genevieve, one of the highest paid Nollywood actresses is an Etisalat ambassador, Amstel Malta ambassador amongst mouth watering other endorsement deals while speaking on her career said: "I don't see myself as a special person beyond the fact that God has blessed me with a talent that is working for me and I am forever thankful to Him". The award winning Imo state born actress, Genevieve who recently turned 35 in May started her acting career at the age of 8 in a popular television soap opera Ripples. When she was 19 years old she was introduced into the growing Nigerian film industry where she acted in a movie "Most Wanted". Genevieve who has since featured in over 80 movies some of which are block busters the likes of Half of yellow sun, Tango with Me, Ije, Single and Married amongst others. She has gained recognition not only in African countries but also internationally. She was the first Nigerian actress to be profiled on the Oprah Winfrey show and labelled by the talk show icon as the, 'Julia Roberts of Africa.' She has also appeared on the Cable Network News programme, African Voices. She was recently chosen as Connector of the day on CNN's Connect the World programme.

 He went on to say that there are a lot of things he craves to do as a normal human and feels right to do, which to him is human rights, and doesn't see any reason to reduce basically his own rights as a human, just as lots of people have that freedom to go on social media and say whatever they feel like they want to say, but the reverse is the case for him, without him been attacked.
 For the celebrity model, gifted singer and Mavin records CEO and Chief, the best idea ever is the 'lagbaja' (face-masked). As when he (lagbaja) is wearing his mask, he is lagbaja, and when he is not wearing it, the public eye doesn't know who he is. Don Jazzy bwent on to laud the Nigerian afro beat musician's face-masked concept.
 Don Jazzy claims he maintains a dual and split personality due to his career, which is Michael Collins for when he isn't seen around or spotted with a walking stick and Don Jazzy when he is with the stick.
 The Nigerian superstar wished he came up with that concept first, as he can't step outside and do whatever he pleases.

With many pointing to that infamous match as motivation for Vahid Halilhodzic's men in the build-up, Algeria flew out of the blocks in the opening 20 minutes, cutting through the German backline on a number of occasions and seeing an Islam Slimani goal disallowed for offside. The African nation – making their first appearance in the second round – continued to impress, but Germany, who will now face France at the Maracana on Friday, finished the stronger and remain on course to reach the semi-finals of a fourth successive World Cup. Algeria made a flying start and Manuel Neuer had to make a sliding tackle to deny Slimani an effort on goal from wide on the left in the ninth minute, after the goalkeeper had initially misjudged a charge from his line. Sofiane Feghouli wasted a good position six minutes later, blazing the ball wildly across goal from the byline with two team-mates better placed. Philipp Lahm went close in the 55th minute, his curling effort diverted wide by an acrobatic save from M'Bolhi. As the game wore on the play became stretched and Slimani sent a rasping effort from distance straight into the arms of Neuer 15 minutes from time. Germany responded strongly and Muller ought to have scored his fifth goal of the tournament shortly afterwards, but his powerful header was beaten away by M'Bolhi. Muller had another clear chance moments later, stabbing the ball wide after a glorious touch to bring the ball under control, while Bastian Schweinsteiger was unable to seriously trouble M'Bolhi with a weak header from Lahm's chipped pass. Low's side then struck early in the first extra period, Schurrle adjusting brilliantly to backheel Muller's cross from the left into the net. Algeria could have levelled through Mostefa, who snatched an effort wide from 10 yards after Germany failed to deal with a corner. Ozil then made the game safe in the closing stages, lashing high into the net after Schurrle had been denied just in front of the goalline by Essaid Belkalem, although there was one final twist as Djabou converted a right-wing cross at the back post to net a deserved consolation for Algeria.

According to information, Otaiku killed himself after his woman told him she was no longer interested in the relationship. After the girlfriend made a U-turn, the deceased was said to have become worried, and this made neighbours, who were aware of the development, to intervene. Efforts were made to reconcile them. On one of such occasions, an eyewitness said the duo was invited to discuss in privacy inside a shop at Safari junction in Onikolobo. Otaiku was said to have hid a knife in his pocket, prepared to end it all if there was no truce. It was further gathered that Olaogun stood her ground and maintained that she could not continue with the relationship. On hearing this unfavourable verdict, the deceased reportedly brought out the knife from his pocket which made Olaogun to run out of the shop, thinking she was the target. Olaogun was said to have immediately alerted neighbours who rushed into the shop and met the deceased stabbing himself. He was said to have been rushed to the Mercy Hospital in the Panseke area of Abeokuta. From there, he was referred to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, also in Abeokuta, but he died on the way to the hospital. The case was said to have been reported at the Adigbe Police Division and policemen were sent to the scene for investigation. While they took the remains of Otaiku to the Ijaye General Hospital mortuary, three other people were whisked away in a Hilux Van marked, NPF 7092 C. The State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, confirmed the incident, adding that the police were still holding on to Otaiku's remains until a postmortem examination would be carried out. Adejobi explained that the command was still examining the statements by the suspects and eyewitnesses. He said, "The lady is still with us, she is still our suspect for now until we carry out a proper investigation on the corpse. "We need some time to study the statements, but the expert's opinion is to carry out a postmortem on the body which we are going to do. I can assure you that the command will do the needful in order to get to the root of the incident."

 Some of the items discovered in the six buildings of about 18 flats, said to be owned by an 85-yearold socialite, include decomposed human parts, a decomposing headless body, decomposed human feet, snail shells, piece of cloth suspected to be used in strangulating victims, under-wears, NYSC caps, shoes, eye glasses, hand set cover, sandals, among other personal belongings, were found in the abandoned buildings.
 The state Commissioner of Police, Mr Ambrose Aisabor, said this during a press conference yesterday at the Police Headquarters, Ilorin.
 Aisabor said the commands special undercover agents, with information from members of the public, discovered the criminal hideout on Saturday.
 According to the state Police Commissioner; we have made another breakthrough in our efforts to ensure that we chase out criminals from this state and ensure that residents live in peace.
 He added that the identified buildings have inscription of For Sale written all over them. They are located near NASFAT praying ground, with a road separating the fenced buildings and the praying ground.
 The police boss, who said no arrest has been made so far, added that the aged socialite, who allegedly owns the place and suspected to be a native of Oro town in Irepodun Local Government Area of the state, was being interrogated.
 The Kwara State Police Commissioner, who also paraded one Ganiyu Lawal, suspected to be a robber, said the suspect removed a Toyota Camry, with number plate Lagos APP 645 AN, from where it was parked in Ikorodu, Lagos.

He is alive and well. He is a key member of the opposition. Again I look at the utterances of the official spokesman of the opposition last year, that is Lai Mohammed, where he protested at the fact that Boko Haram was proscribed by the federal government where he said it was unconstitutional for the federal government to do so. He needs to explain why it is he would want to protect and support an organization that has killed almost 15,000 Nigerians as at that time and is against the fact that they were being proscribed to protect Nigerians.
 "If you compare what's happening in Nigeria to what happened in Ireland some years ago, you had Sinn Fein on the one hand and then you had the IRA on the other. The IRA was the armed wing of Sinn Fein and as far as I'm concerned, Boko Haram could well be described as the armed wing of the opposition, today."
